This ATL Peach is a legend in the Drag Queen scene and has been active for over 30 years. While her stay on Vh1’s RuPaul’s Drag Race wasn’t long her presence as an icon will be felt long after the show is over.

Tamisha Iman was originally cast to Vh1’s Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 12, but shortly after the phone call from production that she had been cast, she received another phone call with quite unfortunate news, that she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon cancer. After aggressive chemo and radiation therapy, Tamisha felt stronger and better than ever to compete for Season 13.

In the first episode, Tamisha had the audience on the floor, laughing their butts offs. RuPaul decided to start the competition with one on one lipsync battles. Which divided the cast between a winners circle and the losers in the Porkchop Loading Dock (a pun from the first Drag Queen to be eliminated Victoria ‘Porkchop’ Parker).

Tamisha lip-synced it out with her fellow contestant Symone to Janet Jacksons’ hit single ‘The Pleasure Principle’. While Tamisha put up a huge fight rocking a gorgeous red blazer, with large pointy shoulders that looked absolutely amazing when she moved them to the beat of the song, she inevitably lost putting her in the loading pork chop along with other Queens that lost their lip-sync. This has caused confusion amongst the other Queens, so when Tamisha was in her confessional she kept hilariously saying “The lady said go home!” and the audience absolutely loved it.

Luckily no one was actually eliminated. While the Queens voted to send their fellow contestant Elliott with Two T’s home, it later revealed that RuPaul secretly put her in the Winners circle.

Eventually, the Winners Circle and Loading Porkchop circle reunited. Fellow contestant Kandy Muse made a comment that Symone was her biggest competition. This did not sit well with Tamisha because she had felt like because both Kandy and Symone were in the Winners circle, that Kandy felt they were above them and did not consider the rest of the cast as competition. This was the beginning of a fiery feud between this ATL Peach vs NYC Diva. They duked it out again in Untucked where they came extremely close blows.

They both ended up in the bottom two, and had to lipsync against each other to ‘Hit ’Em Up Style (Oops) by Blu Cantrel,’ when Tamisha Unfortunately lost and had to Sashay away. But in true Tamisha Iman fashion, she gave a graceful exit and hugged it out with Kandy and of course thanked Ru and the judges for the opportunity.
